To Wander Like a Cloud...
To “wander like a cloud”, one must first establish oneself in cultivation.
Cloud Wandering (云游) is a classical Daoist concept, where one is not aimlessly wandering around, not travelling for pleasure, nor escape, but for cultivation of oneself.
Cloud Wandering traditionally referred to a stage in a cultivators life where one must leave the refuge of the temple, adapting to the ever-changing circumstances of life, in order to find the temple within.
Through the exploration of different places, cultures and teachers, it helps one to shed fixed attachments of identity, to find the True Self.
Along the way one must act with virtue and be of service where needed, holding fast to one’s own cultivation practices.

We are Kate and Henri Lebedev.
Chinese Kate was born in Fremantle, West Aus, and is a Registered Nurse in NZ & Aus with a specialisation in mental health. Henri was born in Pärnu, Estonia, where he became a national boxing champion and avid gardener.
We currently live between New Zealand, Australia & Indonesia.
Cloud Wanderers Ltd
In 2020, we established Cloud Wanderers Ltd in New Zealand as a way to share and continue exploring the Internal Arts of Qigong, Neigong, Neidan, Taiji, and Chinese Medicine.
Our long term goal is to build 'Nature Temple' a nature sanctuary for people to practice the Internal Arts, including accommodation, training facilities, a Chinese Medicine clinic, healthfood store, restaurant and more...
Internal Arts study with Damo Mitchell
Having studied with many teachers in Australia, New Zealand, China, Singapore, Malaysia and yonder, we have found Damo Mitchell to be the clearest guide to the Internal Arts.
We train as full-time students at Damo's school in Bali for ~6 months a year and are approved instructors for the Neigong syllabus, which forms the core of our NeiGong events.
